  • What kind of services do you offer?

    Apart from translating documents, we offer services such as:

    • Interpreting for conferences, medical appointments, events, etc.
    • Editing and proofreading of texts
    • Copywriting for businesses and institutions
    • Transcription of audio or video files from interviews, speeches, minutes, etc.
  • What is a certified translation?

    A certified or otherwise official or authenticated translation is one that bears the signature and stamp of the person who is legally entitled to translate and certify your document. We make use of the Greek Law 4194/2013 Greek Official Gazette A' 208/2013 and we cooperate with lawyers who legally hold the above-mentioned status.

    In this way, the translations become certified and thus accepted by public bodies, services, and authorities in Greece and abroad.

    Thanks to our experience, we can say that the certified translation is in most cases mandatory in your dealings with Greek or foreign institutions, services, or authorities, so it must necessarily be signed and stamped by the lawyer. However, a certified translation is often necessary in transactions with private institutions or companies too. We recommend that our clients always contact the institution, service, or authority they wish to submit their translation to be properly informed if they need a certified translation. It is very important to know exactly what you need to avoid any problems or delays that may occur along the way.

    A certified translation, bearing the signature and stamp of the lawyer, is equivalent to and has the same validity as that of the former Translation Service of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs

  • Do I need a Hague stamp (Apostille)?

    The Hague Stamp (Apostille) is the seal that is affixed to original public documents and certifies the authenticity of the signature of the person signing the document so that the document can be legally used and accepted by a foreign state.

    The Hague Stamp (Apostille) is always attached to the original public document, and this is done before the document is translated.

    Therefore, you must first have your original public document receive the Hague Stamp (Apostille) and then contact us for its translation.

    You can contact the institution responsible for issuing your document to obtain the Hague Stamp (Apostille) and to be fully informed about the procedure.

    Please note that we do not undertake to ensure the Hague Stamp (Apostille) for the sake of your documents, instead you will need to obtain it before proceeding with the translation process.

  • How much your services cost?

    Each project is unique with different needs and therefore requires different management.

    Indicatively, we can mention the three factors that determine the cost of the service:

    • The volume of the project/document
    • The language combination
    • The terminology and hence the degree of difficulty and complexity arising from it

    Taking these three factors into account, we ensure the best possible cost for you.

    For this reason, it is not possible to make an offer over the phone without first having seen the document.

    For the exact cost, you should contact us at info@threecountries.gr and send us your documents so that we can inform you about the cost before undertaking the project.

  • In how long will I receive my translation / will my project be completed?

    As with the cost, the time frame may vary depending on:

    • The volume of the project/document
    • The language combination
    • The terminology and hence the degree of difficulty and complexity arising from it

  • How can I pay?

    You have the option to pay by bank transfer, either in cash or by credit/debit card via POS at our office.

    We remind you that our office is located at 112 Ippokratous street, 4th floor, 11472, Athens and you can visit us by appointment from Monday to Friday, 09:00 17:00.

  • In which languages do you offer services?

    We have an extended international network of professionals and are therefore able to serve you in a multitude of languages. All our partners are experienced and specialized, which enables us to provide you with top quality and excellent results.
